Position: Education / Teaching Assistant

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist lead teachers in delivering instruction and assessing student progress
• Provide one-on-one guidance to students, ensuring a strong understanding of the material
• Create supporting educational material under the guidance of the lead teacher
• Organize and maintain an effective learning environment, ensuring it is conducive for all students
• Attend staff meetings and contribute to curriculum and planning discussions
• Monitor the students' social and emotional development and report concerns to the lead teacher
• Engage with parents/guardians during parent-teacher conferences or as needed

Job Requirements

• A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
• Previous experience in an educational support role desirable
• Proficiency in English, additional proficiency in Italian is a plus
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Adaptable, patient and empathetic disposition
• Proficient in popular digital teaching platforms and Microsoft Office Suite
