We are a renowned language school located in the heart of Florence, Italy, providing a wide range of language courses to students from all over the world. We are currently seeking a dedicated and professional individual to join our team as an English Teaching Assistant.
Job Description
This position entails assisting the main English teacher in preparing lesson plans, creating engaging classroom materials, providing individual support to students, managing class logistics, and contributing to the smooth running of the school. Additionally, the Assistant will play a fundamental role in engaging students in language learning outside the classroom, such as through the creation and implementation of language events, clubs and activities.
Job Requirements
The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in English, Education, Linguistics or a related field. Previous teaching experience, as well as a CELTA, TEFL, or equivalent certification, is highly desirable. The candidate should have strong communication skills and demonstrate a high level of proficiency in English. Knowledge of Italian or any other language will be a bonus.
