Job Description

The English Teaching Assistant will not just teach but ignite a passion for the English language in our students. Key responsibilities include:

- Assisting the main teacher in implementing the curriculum.
- Preparing lesson plans and learning materials.
- Giving individual attention to students requiring extra help.
- Invigilating examinations and coordinating grading activities.
- Providing constructive feedback to students and parents for continuous improvement.
- Participating in staff meetings and contributing to school improvement plans.
- Helping the main teacher with classroom management, including monitoring attendance and handling discipline issues.

Job Requirements

To be considered for this position, you should fulfill the following requirements:

- A degree in English Language, Literature, or a related field.
- TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages), TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language), or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
- At least one-year experience in teaching or tutoring English.
- Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken.
- Basic understanding of Italian language would be an added advantage.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, and cultural sensitivity to deal with diverse nationale students.
