Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic English Teaching Assistant with a passion for teaching and a strong interest in living and working in Bologna. The English Teaching Assistant will be expected to help design engaging course content, adapt teaching methods and materials to meet students' varying needs and interests, and provide positive and constructive feedback to students.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist lead English teacher in curriculum preparation and delivery
  • Identify students' strengths and weaknesses to customize materials and teaching methods
  • Supervise and assist students during assignments and tests
  • Provide constructive feedback on student performance and progress
  • Maintain a positive and interactive learning environment
  • Perform administrative tasks, such as keeping student attendance records and grading assignments

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, English or related field
  • TEFL/TESOL Certification or equivalent
  • At least one year of experience in teaching or tutoring English
  • Native or near-native fluency in English
  • Basic proficiency in Italian or willingness to learn
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
