Job Description:

A Teaching Assistant (TA) will support our educators in instructional delivery, classroom management, and in offering pastoral care.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Supporting teachers in the preparation & subsequent tidy-up of lessons.
  • Assisting the teacher to manage pupils' learning in class or in groups.
  • Adapting learning resources under guidance to facilitate inclusive learning.
  • Helping to maintain classroom discipline.
  • Providing feedback to the teacher about pupils' progression.
  • Working under the supervision of a teacher, assisting with marking and assessing pupils' work.
  • Providing individual care and supporting students with special needs as required.

Job Requirements:

  • An undergraduate degree or a corresponding qualification in education.
  • Previous experience in a similar setting is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken Italian and English.
  • Excellent organization and interpersonal skills.
  • A high level of initiative and the ability to work as part of a team.
  • Respectful understanding of children differing in age, needs and abilities.
  • Willingness to engage in continuous professional development.
