Job Description

We are currently looking for a creative and talented Furniture Maker Intern to join our dynamic team based in Athens, Greece. As an intern, you will be exposed to the various stages of the production process, from design to finished product. Key areas of focus will include learning our unique design process, understanding the nuances of different materials, using machinery for production, and quality control. Our internships offer a fantastic opportunity to gain on-the-job experience, working on high-profile projects whilst developing your industry knowledge.

Tasks Description

  • Assist in the design and development of new furniture collections
  • Aid in the selection and sourcing of high-quality materials
  • Collaborate with teams across the business including design, production, and marketing
  • Ongoing learning and developing the craft of furniture making
  • Perform quality control check at every stage of production

Job and Personal Requirements

The ideal candidate should:

  • Be currently enrolled in, or recently graduated from a Degree or Higher Diploma in Woodwork, Carpentry, or equivalent.
  • Have a genuine passion for furniture craftsmanship and design.
  • Be a detail-oriented, innovative thinker with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Possess good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Display a high level of motivation and willingness to learn.
