Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed individual to join our team as an Intern in Law. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to our legal team, liaising with clients and completing legal research.
This is a full-time role with the potential to progress to a permanent position. The intern will gain valuable experience in the legal field and form relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist lawyers in all aspects of legal research and document drafting
- Conduct legal research on a variety of legal topics
- Analyze and interpret legal documents
- Keep track of important deadlines and manage the attorneys’ calendars
- Assist with client management and communication
- Prepare legal documents and briefs
- Keep up to date on legal news and developments
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in a legal environment
- Excellent research and writing skills
- Strong knowledge of legal terminology and principles
- Familiarity with the court system and legal processes
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Law
