They are looking for a werkstudent to assist with the varied tasks and exciting projects in the People, Culture & Communication team.

Tasks

They are looking for a werkstudent to assist with the varied tasks and exciting projects in the People, Culture & Communication team. You will support the  Regional People Business Partner at the Monheim site with various HR processes, administrative tasks and the introduction of employee benefits including:

  • Employee inquiries: Answer questions about HR policies, benefits and general workplace issues.
  • Payroll and pension payments: Assist with monthly review and quality assurance of German payroll and pension payments.
  • Administrative tasks: Process surveys and inquiries from German authorities and assist with administrative local HR requirements.
  • Communication and benefits: Help plan and implement new employee benefits as part of the move to a new location.
  • Meetings with the works council: Prepare meetings with co-determination bodies and actively participate in the meetings, especially with the works council.
  • Own projects: Take responsibility for small projects within the People team in Germany.
  • Process compliance: Ensure compliance with German labor laws and contribute to process compliance. 

Requirements

  • Enrolled student in the field of human resources or a related course of study.
  • Fluency in written and spoken German and English.
  • Interest in and ideally initial experience with German labor law, social security and taxation.
  • High level of accuracy and reliability in documenting and handling processes.
  • Very good organizational skills and enjoy supporting meetings and quality controls.
  • Team player and enjoy working with an international team.

Availability
