Paid Internship – E-Commerce Operations Intern in Germany (Hamburg)

Job Description

Our collaborator is a fast-growing online fashion and accessories store, founded by a visionary entrepreneur and led by a passionate team. With over 100 employees globally, they are now looking for a motivated E-Commerce Operations Intern to join their dynamic team in Hamburg. This paid internship provides a comprehensive overview of the entire e-commerce process, including product uploads, customer service, and operational support.

Tasks

• Upload and manage product listings on e-commerce platforms.
• Provide customer service and assist with customer inquiries.
• Support inventory tracking and order fulfillment.
• Collaborate with the marketing team on promotional activities and advertising strategies.
• Assist in returns management and logistics coordination.

Requirements

• Fluency in English is a must
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) or Google Workspace.
• Basic knowledge of e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Amazon, eBay) is a plus.
• Fluency in English (required); German and/or Chinese is a plus.
• Proactive and detail-oriented mindset.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

Conditions

• Compensation:  300-500€ per month
• Transportation: Deutschland-Ticket (free public and regional transportation in all of Germany, 58€ per month)
• Ergonomics: Height adjustable desks and chairs  
• Others: free snacks, fruits, water, soft drinks, tea and coffee in the office.

Availability and hours: 

• Start date: March/April
• Duration: 6 months (extension possible) 
• Position: full-time (40 hours a week)
