Job Description: Event Management Intern

We are currently seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented Event Management Intern to join our dynamic Dortmund-based team. This individual will play an instrumental role in executing successful events, from the initial stages of planning and coordinating, right down to the execution and wrap-up. With a strong emphasis on hands-on experience, this intern will acquire invaluable insights into all facets of event planning and management. Tasks include vendor relations, logistics management, budget planning, marketing efforts, on-site setup, and tear-down. This intern will also assist in exploring and pursuing new event opportunities.

Qualifications and Personal Requirements

The ideal candidate will be a recent graduate or current student pursuing a degree in Event Management, Business Administration, Communications or a related field. Strong organizational skills, a keen attention to detail, excellent communication abilities, and proficiency in managing time effectively to meet deadlines are critical for this role. A deep passion for event management and a relentless drive to learn and grow within the industry are a must. Fluency in German and English is required. Previous experience in event planning or related fields is preferred but not essential.
