Job Description

The intern will assist in overall gallery operations including;

• Assisting with the coordination and set-up of gallery exhibitions and events.
• Assisting with artwork sales and database management.
• Providing invaluable support to our artists by helping to promote their work, organize materials and manage correspondence.
• Collaborating with stakeholders in the design and distribution of promotional materials, both online and offline.
• Accompanying senior staff in client meetings and artist studio visits as required.

Requirements

Ideal candidates should possess:

• A background in Fine Arts, Art History, or related field.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in French and English.
• A keen interest and understanding of contemporary art and the art market.
• Strong organizational and administrative skills.
• A team-oriented attitude, with the ability to work independently when required.
• Flexible availability that includes some evening and weekends for events and openings.
