Job Description

As a Dentistry Intern, your primary responsibility will be to assist our highly experienced team of dentists in delivering high-quality dental care to our patients. These responsibilities include assisting with dental procedures, observing patient consultations, handling dental instruments, maintaining good hygiene standards, taking dental x-rays, carrying out administrative duties, and participating in patient education.

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Provide chair-side assistance to dentists during dental procedures.
• Conduct patients' dental histories.
• Assist in the casting of moulds for crowns and bridges.
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety protocols in dental practices.
• Attend training sessions, dental workshops and participate in research activities.
• Develop hands-on proficiency with dental tools and software.

Requirements

The ideal candidate must be a student in the field of Dentistry, possess a genuine interest in the dental field and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Technical abilities, such as the ability to use specialized dental software, knowledge about modern dental instruments and medical procedures, and awareness of medical safety regulations is also imperative.
