Internship Role: Reception / Reservations Intern

The Reception / Reservations Intern will assist in delivering exceptional customer service and operational excellence. Key tasks include:

  • Assist in managing front desk operations, including guest check-in and check-out procedures.
  • Handle reservation inquiries via phone, email, and in-person, ensuring accurate bookings and guest information.
  • Support the team in optimizing room occupancy and coordinating with housekeeping and maintenance departments.
  • Provide guests with information about hotel services, local attractions, and leisure activities.
  • Maintain accurate records of transactions and assist in managing financial processes.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operation and extraordinary guest experiences.

Job Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a Hospitality Management or related program.
  • Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in Portuguese or another language is a plus.
  • Strong customer service orientation with a friendly and professional demeanor.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with hotel management software is advantageous.
