Job Responsibilities

• Assist teachers in planning and delivering engaging lessons for students in various subjects.
• Support students in their learning, providing additional assistance to those who may need it, including differentiated instruction and one-on-one support.
• Supervise students during classroom activities, lunch breaks, and outdoor play, ensuring their safety and well-being.
• Help prepare teaching materials, resources, and classroom displays that enhance the learning experience.
• Maintain a positive classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaboration.
• Assist in conducting assessments and tracking student progress, providing feedback to teachers on individual learning needs.
• Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.

Personal Requirements

• Relevant qualifications in education or a related field.
• Previous experience as a teaching assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to inspire and motivate students.
• Patience, empathy, and a passion for supporting children's learning.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of Italian or other languages is a plus.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and contribute to a collaborative school culture.
• Flexibility and adaptability in responding to the needs of students and the school environment.
