Job Responsibilities

  • Support classroom teachers in the delivery of engaging lessons and activities.
  • Assist in preparing teaching materials and resources tailored to the learning needs of students.
  • Help maintain a positive and supportive classroom environment, encouraging student participation and motivation.
  • Monitor student progress and behavior, providing feedback and addressing concerns as necessary.
  • Supervise students during break times, ensuring their safety and wellbeing.
  • Assist with the implementation of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance educational strategies and practices.
  • Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and curriculum development activities.

Job Requirements

  • Proven experience as a teaching assistant or in a similar educational role.
  • Strong knowledge of child development and educational pedagogy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for working with children.
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of Italian is highly desirable.
  • Patience, adaptability, and a positive attitude towards diverse learning styles.
  • Relevant qualifications such as a diploma in education or related field is preferred.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also possessing independent problem-solving skills.
