Job Vacancy: English Teaching Assistant

We are a vibrant language school located in the heart of Turin, Italy, dedicated to providing exceptional language education to students from diverse backgrounds. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist lead English teachers in conducting lessons for various age groups and language proficiency levels.
• Support the development of teaching materials and resources to enhance the learning experience.
• Facilitate interactive activities, including games, discussions, and role-plays, to encourage speaking and comprehension in English.
• Provide individualized support to students who require additional help or enrichment opportunities.
• Evaluate and provide feedback on students' progress, helping to track their development throughout the course.
• Participate in staff meetings and professional development workshops to enhance teaching strategies.
• Administer and help set up language assessments, including oral and written exams.

Job and Personal Requirements:

• Fluency in English (native or near-native proficiency) is required.
• A Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, Linguistics, or a related field is preferred.
• Previous teaching or tutoring experience, particularly in language education, is an asset.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to connect with students of varying ages and backgrounds.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• A genuine passion for teaching and fostering a love for language learning.
• Basic knowledge of Italian is advantageous but not mandatory.
