Job Description

The Education / Teaching Assistant will play a vital role in the learning and development of pupils. You will be tasked with:

  • Supporting the teacher in planning, preparation and execution of lessons.
  • Serving as a mentor for students, offering encouragement and constructive feedback.
  • Adopting various teaching techniques to cater to different learning styles.
  • Assisting students with special education needs, and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEP).
  • Collaborating closely with teachers and other professionals to assess and ensure students' progress.
  • Preparing instructional materials and maintaining classroom equipment and resources.
  • Carrying out administrative tasks such as preparing reports and grading assignments.

Job Requirements

Ideal candidates should have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
  • Experience working in an educational environment, preferably as a Teaching Assistant.
  • Proficiency in both English and Spanish.
  • Strong IT skills.
  • A flexible and approachable demeanour, able to handle diverse tasks and situations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
