Job Vacancy: Education / Teaching Assistant

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Assist teachers in planning and implementing engaging educational activities.
• Support students in their learning by providing one-on-one assistance and small group instruction.
• Participate in classroom management and reinforce behavioral expectations.
• Prepare educational materials and resources for lessons.
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers.
• Help with administrative tasks, including record-keeping and classroom organization.
• Facilitate communication with parents and caregivers as necessary.
• Participate in training and professional development sessions.
• Contribute to a positive and inclusive school culture.

Job Requirements

• Previous experience in a teaching or educational support role is preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; knowledge of Spanish is a plus.
• Understanding of child development and various learning styles.
• Ability to work collaboratively with educators, staff, and students.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to support student learning.
• Relevant qualifications in education or child development are desirable.
