Events Internship Opportunity in Viseu, Portugal

We are a renowned, reputable firm in the events industry, known for orchestrating some of the most memorable corporate and social events in Portugal. We are expanding our dynamic team and have an opening for an internship position for our Viseu branch.

Job Description:

The intern will closely work with our event planning team on various assignments and gain valuable industry knowledge and experience. Your tasks will include, but are not limited to:

• Assisting in planning, executing, and closing events
• Meeting with clients to understand their needs and make suitable recommendations
• Communicating effectively with team members and vendors
• Conducting venues and suppliers’ research, quotation requests, and contract checking
• Sourcing and liaising with clients and vendors, and scheduling appointments
• Setting up and tearing down event sites.

Job Requirements:

Applicants should be current students or recent graduates of a program in event management, public relations, marketing, or a related field. Prior experience in the events industry is a plus. We are looking for individuals who are:

• Detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks
• Strong communicators, both verbally and written
• Efficient and reliable, with the ability to work independently and in a team
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and event registration software
• Has a flexible schedule that allows for event attendance
• Fluent in Portuguese and English
