Job Vacancy: English Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated English Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant language school located in the historic city of Viseu, Portugal. Responsibilities

• Assist the lead teacher in planning and delivering engaging lessons tailored to various proficiency levels.
• Support students in their language acquisition through interactive activities, group work, and one-on-one assistance.
• Conduct conversation practice sessions to enhance students' speaking and listening skills.
• Prepare and organize teaching materials and resources for lessons.
• Evaluate students' progress through informal assessments and provide constructive feedback.

• Participate in school events, workshops, and professional development opportunities.

Job Requirements

• Fluent in English; proficiency in additional languages is an advantage.
• Previous experience in teaching or tutoring English as a second language is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in English, Education, Linguistics, or a related field.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to diverse learning styles.
• Enthusiasm for teaching and a genuine interest in helping students succeed.
