Internship Opportunity - Event Management

Internship Objectives and Tasks

As an Intern in Event Management, you will support the planning, organization, coordination, and execution of signature events under the guidance of experienced event professionals. Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting in the development and execution of event plans.
  • Helping in vendor selection, negotiation and management.
  • Coordinating with team members to ensure seamless execution of events.
  • Supporting in event promotion through various channels like social media and corporate website.
  • Participating in on-site event management, including setup, operation and tear down.
  • Helping in post event analysis, and developing improvement plan for future events.

Job Requirements

We are looking for candidates who are actively pursuing or have completed a degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Tourism, Marketing, or a related field. Excellent communication skills in English (both spoken and written) are a must, while knowledge of additional languages will be a definite plus. Proficiency in MS Office and knowledge of event management software is required. Must be over 18 years old and have the legal right to work in Portugal.
