Internship Position: Events Management Intern

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Assist in the planning and execution of various events, including corporate meetings, weddings, and community festivals.
  • Coordinate logistics, including venue selection, catering, transportation, and audiovisual needs.
  • Support the marketing team by creating promotional materials, managing social media presence, and engaging with potential attendees.
  • Conduct research on vendors, venues, and competitors to inform event strategies and budgets.
  • Attend events on-site to help manage operations and ensure smooth execution.
  • Compile feedback from clients and attendees to improve future event planning.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure all communication and planning aligns with company standards.

Requirements

Job Requirements
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; knowledge of event management software is a plus.
  • Previous experience in event planning or customer service is preferred.
