Job Description

The primary role of the Education/Teaching Assistant is to give support to our teaching staff, ensuring a conducive and effective learning environment for our students. Tasks include:

• Assisting teachers in planning and implementing lesson plans
• Helping students with assignments and reinforcing classroom rules
• Providing one-to-one or small-group support to students who need additional help
• Helping with extracurricular programs and school events
• Supporting students with special educational needs
• Creating a secure, positive, and stimulating learning environment
• Assisting with administrative duties such as preparing class materials

Job Requirements

We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:

• A degree in Education or a related field
• Fluent Portuguese speaker, with good English communication skills
• Previous experience as a teaching assistant or a similar role
• Excellent understanding of child development and learning strategies
