Job Description

As an Education / Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the teachers and helping students achieve their academic goals. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Assisting classroom teachers in delivering engaging lessons and activities.
• Helping to create a positive learning environment that caters to the diverse needs of students.
• Supporting students with their individual learning plans and providing personalized assistance as needed.
• Monitoring student progress and behavior, providing feedback to teachers on student development.
• Conducting small group activities and one-on-one tutoring sessions.
• Preparing classroom materials and resources to enhance the learning experience.
• Maintaining a safe and clean classroom environment.
• Assisting in the integration of technology into the classroom.

Personal and Job Requirements

We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:

• Relevant qualification in Education or a related field.
• Experience working with children in a classroom or educational setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, teachers, and parents effectively.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and be adaptable to changing needs.
• Passion for education and a commitment to fostering a supportive learning environment.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of Portuguese is an advantage.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
