INTERN KITCHEN / COOK POSITION - ÉVORA, PORTUGAL

THE ROLE

Kitchen / Cook Intern

In the supportive and dynamic environment of our professional kitchen, the Intern will learn hands-on culinary skills, kitchen management techniques, and develop their understanding of local and international cuisines. Tasks include but are not limited to the following:

• Assist in the preparation and cooking of various meals and desserts under the guidance of the Head Chef.
• Participate in the creation of new seasonal menus incorporating local, fresh products.
• Learn food presentation, plating techniques, and food safety regulations compliance.
• Collaborate effectively with the kitchen team to ensure efficient kitchen operations.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

The ideal candidate should embrace a passion for gastronomy and hospitality, be a current student or a recent graduate in a culinary/hospitality program, have foundational knowledge of cooking techniques, and be comfortable with handling kitchen equipment. Fluency in Portuguese and an intermediate level of English are necessary. Previous hospitality industry experience would be beneficial.
