Job Description

We are currently seeking to employ a passionate, dynamic English Teaching Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting our lead teachers in delivering high-quality English lessons and promoting a fun and engaging learning environment.

The tasks for the role will include planning lessons and organizing educational activities, providing support to students in improving vocabulary, grammar, and English communication skills. In addition, providing help in understanding and completing assignments, preparing students for English language exams, and conducting assessments to note progress. It also involves collaboration with lead teachers and colleagues to evaluate student progress and provide feedback to promote improvement.

Job Requirements

The candidate must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in English or a relevant field, have a TEFL/TESL/CELTA certification, and previous experience in teaching English as a Second Language (ESL). Fluency in English is a must, along with knowledge of effective teaching methodologies. Being creative, patient, and passionate about teaching are also crucial attributes for this role. Knowledge of Portuguese is not a mandatory requirement but is a beneficial asset.
