Job Responsibilities
- Assist classroom teachers in delivering engaging and effective lesson plans.
- Support students with individual learning needs, providing one-on-one assistance as required.
- Help maintain a positive and productive classroom environment through behavior management techniques.
- Organize and facilitate small group activities to enhance learning and collaboration.
- Monitor and document student progress, communicating effectively with teachers regarding individual developmental needs.
- Prepare classroom materials and resources, ensuring all educational tools are ready for use.
- Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the school community through various initiatives.
- Assist with the supervision of students during breaks and extracurricular activities, promoting safety and engagement.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of a high school diploma; a degree in education or related field is preferred.
- Experience working with children, preferably in an educational setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with students and staff.
- Understanding of various learning styles and classroom management techniques.
- Fluency in English is required, while proficiency in Portuguese is highly advantageous.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and adapt to the needs of a diverse student population.
