Job Responsibilities

  • Assist classroom teachers in delivering engaging and effective lesson plans.
  • Support students with individual learning needs, providing one-on-one assistance as required.
  • Help maintain a positive and productive classroom environment through behavior management techniques.
  • Organize and facilitate small group activities to enhance learning and collaboration.
  • Monitor and document student progress, communicating effectively with teachers regarding individual developmental needs.
  • Prepare classroom materials and resources, ensuring all educational tools are ready for use.
  • Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the school community through various initiatives.
  • Assist with the supervision of students during breaks and extracurricular activities, promoting safety and engagement.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of a high school diploma; a degree in education or related field is preferred.
  • Experience working with children, preferably in an educational setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with students and staff.
  • Understanding of various learning styles and classroom management techniques.
  • Fluency in English is required, while proficiency in Portuguese is highly advantageous.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and adapt to the needs of a diverse student population.
