Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Education / Teaching Assistant to support classroom activities and contribute to the overall educational experience of our students. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers to create an engaging learning environment, assist in lesson planning, and provide individual and group support to students. Responsibilities include supervising students during class and break times, helping to prepare teaching materials, and participating in parent-teacher meetings.

Tasks

• Assist teachers in delivering instructional activities and lessons.
• Support students with special educational needs, providing tailored assistance.
• Monitor student progress and behavior, reporting any concerns to the teacher.
• Help maintain a tidy and organized classroom environment.
• Engage students in extracurricular activities and learning support groups.
• Facilitate communication between teachers, students, and parents.

Job Requirements

• A minimum of a high school diploma; education in child development or education is a plus.
• Experience working with children, preferably in an educational setting.
• Strong communication skills in Portuguese and a good understanding of English.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Patience, empathy, and a passion for teaching.
