Job Vacancy: Education / Teaching Assistant

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist teachers in delivering engaging lesson plans and facilitating learning activities for students.
  • Support individual students with their educational needs, helping to address diverse learning styles and barriers.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
  • Prepare classroom materials, resources, and displays to enhance the learning environment.
  • Supervise students during classroom activities, breaks, and extracurricular events.
  • Engage students in meaningful discussions and promote critical thinking through group activities.
  • Participate in staff meetings and professional development training as needed.
  • Assist in maintaining a positive, safe, and organized learning atmosphere.

Job Requirements

  • A degree or certification in Education or a related field is preferred.
  • Previous experience working with children in an educational setting is highly desirable.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect with students.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and support diverse learners.
  • Fluency in Portuguese; proficiency in English or other languages is an advantage.
