Job Description

As a Reception/Reservations Intern, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a seamless guest experience. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with check-in and check-out procedures, providing guests with a warm welcome.
  • Managing reservations via phone, email, and online platforms, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Responding to guest inquiries and resolving issues promptly to maintain high satisfaction levels.
  • Coordinating with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure room readiness.
  • Filing and maintaining records of guest information and correspondence.
  • Working alongside the front desk team to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency.
  • Participating in team meetings and training sessions to improve service standards and personal skills.

Requirements

We are seeking candidates who meet the following job and personal requirements:

  • Currently pursuing or recently graduated from a degree in Hospitality Management or a related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; fluency in English and Italian is a must, and proficiency in a third language is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with hotel management software is preferred.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude towards guest satisfaction.
  • A passion for hospitality and cultural awareness.
