Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Educational / Teaching Assistant to join our team in a co-educational kindergarten through high school institution located in the heart of Genoa, Italy. The successful candidate will be expected to assist students, teachers and carry out general administrative tasks to support educational activities.The Teaching Assistant's responsibilities include:

• Assisting students with their educational and social development, on an individual and group basis.
• Providing support to teachers in managing class behavior and preparing educational materials.
• Working collaboratively with other professionals, such as speech therapists and social workers.
• Supporting students with special educational needs, ensuring they are included in all school activities.
• Participating in relevant school meetings and training.
• Conducting administrative duties such as attendance and grading paperwork.

Job Requirements

Candidates should:

• Hold a minimum of a Diploma in Education or similar field.
• Have at least one year’s experience in a similar role.
• Be fluent in both Italian and English languages.
• Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Animation or tutoring skills will be considered a plus.
