Job Description

As a Spanish Teaching Assistant, your primary responsibility will be to support our Spanish language instructors in delivering high-quality lessons to students. Your tasks will include:

• Assisting teachers in preparing lesson materials and resources.
• Providing one-on-one or group support to students in practice sessions, focusing on speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills.
• Organizing and facilitating language games, cultural activities, and conversation clubs.
• Monitoring student progress and providing feedback to both students and instructors.
• Helping maintain a positive and encouraging classroom environment.
• Assisting with administrative tasks related to classroom management and student records.
• Encouraging students to engage with Spanish-speaking culture through various media.

Requirements

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Fluency in Spanish; proficiency in English is a plus.
• Prior experience in teaching or tutoring is desirable but not essential.
• A degree in education, linguistics, or a related field is preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
• Passion for teaching and engaging with students.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
