Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Education / Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant school community in Bilbao, Spain. The successful candidate will support classroom teachers in delivering high-quality education to students. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting with lesson preparation, supporting student learning both in group settings and individually, helping with classroom management, and providing logistical support during school events. You will also work closely with students who require additional assistance, helping them to achieve their academic goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist teachers in planning and implementing engaging lesson plans.
• Support students with diverse learning needs by providing tailored assistance.
• Supervise students during classroom activities and on school trips.
• Help maintain a positive and safe learning environment.
• Assist in the assessment and evaluation of student progress.
• Organize and prepare classroom resources and materials.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff to foster a collaborative environment.

Job and Personal Requirements

• Minimum qualification: Relevant degree or equivalent experience in education.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Spanish and English; additional languages are a plus.
• Empathy and patience in dealing with students of varying abilities.
• Organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Experience in a school setting is preferred but not mandatory.
