Job Overview

We are looking for a passionate Education / Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant team. You will be assisting the lead teacher in implementing and maintaining educational systems and classroom strategies. This role involves engaging students, answering their questions, and monitoring their progress to ensure every child gets the most out of our educational programming.

Job Description

Your duties will include:

• Supporting lead teachers in creating lesson plans and organizing learning materials.
• Assisting students individually or in groups to ensure they understand concepts and improve their skills.
• Helping to implement a classroom management plan and maintain a positive learning environment.
• Monitoring students for appropriate social interactions and behavioral adherence to school norms.
• Participating in regular meetings with educators and parents to discuss student progress and suggest improvements.

Job Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field.
• Previous classroom experience as an Education Assistant or similar role.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in Portuguese and English.
• Understanding of pedagogy and child development theories.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact and build relationships with students of all ages, parents, and school staff.
