Job Description

As an English Teaching Assistant, you will support our language instruction team in creating an engaging and effective learning atmosphere. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Assisting lead teachers in planning, preparing, and delivering English language lessons.
• Facilitating small group activities and one-on-one tutoring sessions to enhance students' understanding of the material.
• Providing constructive feedback to students to help them improve their speaking, writing, and comprehension skills.
• Contributing to the development of supplementary learning materials and resources.
• Monitoring student progress and maintaining records of their performance.
• Participating in school events and extracurricular activities to foster a sense of community.

Requirements

We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, English, Linguistics, or a related field.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of Portuguese or other languages is a plus.
• Previous experience in teaching or tutoring is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for teaching and enthusiasm for working with students of all ages.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural environment.
