Job Description

As an English Teaching Assistant, your task will include:

• Assisting lead teachers in delivering structured English lessons to students of various proficiency levels.
• Facilitating engaging group activities and interactive learning sessions.
• Helping with lesson planning and preparation, including creating engaging learning materials.
• Providing constructive feedback to students and assisting them in improving their language skills.
• Providing administrative support as needed, including grading assignments and recording attendance.
• Maintaining a well-managed, tidy, and stimulating classroom environment that promotes student participation and learning.

Additional responsibilities may include participating in school events, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.

Job Requirements

The successful candidate should meet the following criteria:

• A Bachelor's degree in Education, English, Applied Linguistics, or a related field.
• Previous teaching assistant experience, ideally in a language learning environment.
• Cambridge CELTA, Trinity CertTESOL, or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
• A strong grasp of different teaching methodologies and the ability to adapt to diverse learning styles.
