Job Vacancy: English Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic English Teaching Assistant to join our dynamic language school in Évora, Portugal. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist lead teachers in the preparation and delivery of engaging English lessons.

• Facilitate conversations and provide interactive speaking opportunities for students.
• Help create and organize educational materials and classroom resources.
• Participate in the assessment of student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Contribute to the planning and execution of extracurricular activities and cultural events.
• Encourage a positive learning environment conducive to student growth.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in English, Education, or a related field.
• Experience in teaching or tutoring English as a second language is preferred.
• Strong communication skills and a passion for language education.
• Ability to engage diverse groups of learners with different backgrounds and needs.
• Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic teaching environment.
• Fluency in English; proficiency in Portuguese is a plus.
• Valid work permit for Portugal (if applicable).
