Job Responsibilities

• Assist teachers in planning, preparing, and delivering engaging educational activities and lessons.
• Support students with individualized learning programs, ensuring they understand the material and achieve their learning objectives.
• Supervise students during classroom activities, breaks, and extra-curricular activities, promoting a safe and inclusive environment.
• Collaborate with teachers to monitor student progress and contribute to assessments and reports.
• Help in managing classroom behavior and implementing strategies to maintain a conducive learning environment.
• Facilitate small group work and provide additional support to students needing extra assistance.
• Organize educational resources and classroom supplies, ensuring a well-prepared learning space.
• Engage with parents and guardians to provide updates on student progress and address any concerns.

Job Requirements

• Minimum of a high school diploma; a degree in education or related field is preferred.
• Previous experience in a teaching assistant role or in a similar educational setting is advantageous.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with students and staff.
• Patience, creativity, and a passion for working with young learners.
• Fluency in Portuguese; proficiency in English is an asset.
• Basic knowledge of educational technology and software is desirable.
