Job Title: Education / Teaching Assistant

The Education / Teaching Assistant will support teachers in the implementation of educational programs, ensuring a positive and effective learning experience for all students.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Assist teachers with daily classroom activities and lesson preparation.
• Support students in their learning across various subjects, providing one-on-one and small group assistance.
• Help in managing classroom behavior and maintaining a respectful learning environment.
• Facilitate group activities and encourage student interaction and collaboration.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to teachers regarding individual needs.
• Assist with administrative tasks, including maintaining student records and preparing educational materials.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff to foster a positive educational atmosphere.

Job and Personal Requirements:

• Teaching Assistant certification or relevant educational background.
• Experience working with children in an educational setting is preferred.
• Strong communication skills in English; proficiency in Portuguese is highly desirable.
• Patience, adaptability, and a passion for education.
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and support staff.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with educational technology.
