About the Internship Position: Reception / Reservations Intern

As an intern at our company, you’ll play an integral role within our vibrant front-office team. You will offer comprehensive support, maintain and enhance customer relations, and ensure smooth and efficient operations at our front desk. You work in tandem with the Reservations and Guest service department in handling bookings and client concerns, delivering high-quality service that embodies our brand image.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Handle guest check-ins and check-outs professionally and in a personable manner.
  • Manage telephone, email, and online reservations and inquiries.
  • Assist customers with their needs including but not limited to, booking changes, and handling complaints.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of room rates, packages, discounts, and promotions.
  • Coordinate with maintenance and housekeeping departments to ensure room readiness.

Job Requirements

  • Currently studying for a degree in Hospitality, Tourism, Business or any related field.
  • Knowledge of Veronese culture and local attractions is a plus.
  • Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in Italian and English. Additional languages would be advantageous.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with hotel reservation systems or similar databases is a plus.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills, and the ability to handle stressful situations with a positive and solution-oriented approach.
