Our language school is nestled in the picturesque, historic city of Parma, Italy. We offer a diverse range of courses in various languages and cater to both international and local students. We are currently looking for a passionate and dedicated English Teaching Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for helping our teachers in planning and implementing the lessons for our English language courses.
- Assisting teachers in the planning and organization of lessons.
- Providing one-on-one tutorial and group classes to students.
- Designing and implementing educational activities that complement the course curriculum.
- Maintaining updated records of students' progress and performance.
- Facilitating a creative and interactive learning environment.
- Providing extra support to students with special needs.
Our ideal candidate would have:
- A Bachelor’s degree, preferably in English, linguistics, or education.
- At least 2 years of experience as a teaching assistant or similar role.
- TEFL/TESOL or CELTA certification is highly advantageous.
- Familiarity with the English language curriculum and teaching techniques.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- The ability to work in a multicultural environment.
- Italian language proficiency is a plus but not mandatory.
- Highly motivated, enthusiastic, and dedicated educator who wants to make a difference in students' lives.
- A compassionate and patient individual who can adapt to each student's learning style and pace.
- The ability to work collaboratively with other staff members.
- An ongoing learner who enjoys personal and professional development.
