Key Responsibilities

  • Support teachers in delivering lesson plans and educational activities effectively.
  • Assist in managing classroom behavior and creating a positive learning environment.
  • Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with varying academic needs.
  • Prepare teaching materials, resources, and classroom displays that are engaging and educational.
  • Conduct assessments to monitor student progress and assist with feedback.
  • Facilitate activities that promote emotional and social development among students.
  • Communicate with parents and guardians regarding student progress and classroom activities.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff to evaluate students' learning needs and adapt lessons accordingly.

Job Requirements

  • Educational background in Education, Child Development, or related fields.
  • Prior experience as a teaching assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in Italian is a significant asset.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage students and enhance their learning experiences.
  • Patience, compassion, and a passion for working with children.
  • Ability to adapt to various learning styles and implement individualized support strategies.
