Key Responsibilities
- Support teachers in delivering lesson plans and educational activities effectively.
- Assist in managing classroom behavior and creating a positive learning environment.
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with varying academic needs.
- Prepare teaching materials, resources, and classroom displays that are engaging and educational.
- Conduct assessments to monitor student progress and assist with feedback.
- Facilitate activities that promote emotional and social development among students.
- Communicate with parents and guardians regarding student progress and classroom activities.
- Collaborate with teaching staff to evaluate students' learning needs and adapt lessons accordingly.
Job Requirements
- Educational background in Education, Child Development, or related fields.
- Prior experience as a teaching assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Italian is a significant asset.
- Demonstrated ability to engage students and enhance their learning experiences.
- Patience, compassion, and a passion for working with children.
- Ability to adapt to various learning styles and implement individualized support strategies.
