Set in the heart of Capri, our collaborator is a luxury hotel that overlooks the Tyrrhenian Sea. With its own private beach, outdoor pool and Michelin-starred restaurant, the hotel offers guests a truly unique experience. The food and beverage department is responsible for ensuring that all guests have a memorable dining experience. Therefore, the food and beverage assistant internship is a great opportunity to learn about the hospitality industry and gain international experience.Main Tasks - Food and Beverage Assistant Internship
- Assisting with serving guests in the restaurant;
- Taking orders and serving food and drinks;
- Clearing tables and resetting them for the next service;
- Helping to maintain a clean and tidy dining area;
- Learning about different types of wine, how to pair them with food etc;
- Any other ad hoc duties as required by the F&B manager.
Profile
Education: Hospitality degreeSkills and qualifications - Food and Beverage Assistant Internship
- A passion for food & drink with excellent knowledge of both wine and gastronomy;
- Previous experience in a similar role within a 4*/5* luxury property or Michelin-starred restaurant would be beneficial although not required;
- Excellent organization skills with the ability to multitask whilst maintaining attention to detail;
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic;
- Excellent communication skills;
- The ability to work well under pressure;
- Fluency in English (other languages are an advantage).
