English Teaching Assistant in Bologna, Italy
A renowned language school in Bologna, Italy is currently seeking a qualified English Teaching Assistant to join our diverse and passionate team. We provide high-quality language education to students of various age groups and proficiency levels. Our team of exceptional language educators from around the world help students take their language qualifications to the next level.
Role Summary
As an English Teaching Assistant, you will support our lead English teachers in delivering engaging language lessons, providing personalised feedback to students, and developing tailored teaching materials. You will be expected to conduct individual and group study sessions, participate in curriculum development meetings, and assist with the grading and assessment of students' English language progression.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist lead teachers in planning and executing lesson plans
- Support students in improving their English conversational and writing skills
- Develop and deliver interactive activities to supplement formal instruction
- Assist in grading and providing constructive feedback to students
- Attend teacher meetings and contribute to curriculum development
Skills and Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in English, Education, Linguistics or related field. A Master's degree is desirable
- TESOL/TEFL certification or equivalent
- Prior experience as an English tutor or teaching assistant
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficiency in using digital tools for educating
