Job Vacancy: French Teaching Assistant

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Assist lead instructors in delivering French language lessons to groups of varying proficiency levels, ensuring engagement and participation.
• Prepare classroom materials and resources, including worksheets, audio-visual aids, and interactive activities.
• Provide individual support to students, helping them with pronunciation, vocabulary, and grammar through tailored exercises.
• Facilitate conversation clubs and cultural exchange sessions, encouraging students to practice their speaking and listening skills in a relaxed setting.
• Evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback to both students and lead instructors.
• Participate in school events and workshops that promote cultural awareness and language appreciation.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in French language, education, or a related field.
• Fluent in French with a strong command of English (knowledge of Italian is a plus).
• Prior experience in teaching or tutoring languages is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage a diverse student population.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
