Job Title: French Teaching Assistant

Job Responsibilities

• Assist lead French teachers in implementing lesson plans and engaging students in language practice.
• Facilitate small group discussions and one-on-one language tutoring to enhance student comprehension and fluency.
• Help prepare teaching materials, including worksheets, presentations, and audio-visual aids.
• Support the organization of cultural activities and events that enrich students’ understanding of French culture.
• Provide feedback and report on student progress to lead teachers.
• Maintain a positive and encouraging learning environment that motivates students to participate actively.

Requirements

• Fluent in French (native speaker preferred) and proficient in English; knowledge of Italian is a plus.
• Previous experience in language teaching or tutoring is highly desirable.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to connect with diverse student populations.
• Organizational skills and creativity in developing engaging teaching materials.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and adapt to varying student needs.
