Job Description:

As a Kitchen Intern, you will assist our exceptional team of highly skilled chefs, learning the ropes under their seasoned guidance. This is an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in all pre-cooking and preparatory activities including selecting, cleaning, and preparing ingredients, and setting up kitchen stations. Under supervision, you will also participate in cooking and presenting dishes according to our superior quality standards. As part of the role, you’ll also learn to check food stock levels, order supplies, and reduce waste.

Tasks:

• Assistance in food prep and cooking under chef supervision
• Maintaining the highest level of kitchen cleanliness and orderliness
• Learn, follow, and replicate the proprietary recipes and cooking techniques
• Compliance with all food safety and hygiene regulations
• Contribute to inventory control and kitchen equipment maintenance

Requirements:

Aspiring candidates must be pursuing a degree/diploma in Culinary Arts or a related field. Previous kitchen experience, while not necessary, will be considered an advantage. This position demands a passion for food, high attention to detail, and the willingness to work in a fast-paced environment. Physical stamina and the ability to work well in a team are essential.
