Internship Position: Communication/Journalism Intern

We are seeking diligent, resourceful, and creative individuals looking to jumpstart their careers in communication and journalism. The chosen candidates will have the opportunity to work in our Liverpool office, surrounded by a thriving hub of creativity and innovation.

Job Description

The prospective Communication/Journalism intern will work directly with our editorial team to take part in newsgathering, news writing, and content creation. The roles and responsibilities include:

• Assisting with the production of news, features, and multimedia content
• Helping to maintain our social media presence by drafting and scheduling social media posts
• Participating in cross-organisation projects and assisting with event coordination
• Contributing to the planning and implementation of communication strategies
• Supporting journalistic research and performing administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications

Aspiring candidates should meet the following requirements:

• Current enrolment in a related Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program such as Journalism, Communications, English Literature, or Media
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• A keen interest in and a basic understanding of the media landscape
• Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented environment
• Proficiency in using social media platforms, content management systems, and digital tools
