Internship Opportunity: Community Engagement Intern in a Renowned NGO - Leeds, United Kingdom

Job Responsibilities

The intern will work closely with the Community Engagement Team, helping with liaison efforts, awareness campaigns, fundraising events, and day-to-day operations. Core duties include:

  • Assisting in planning and executing community events.
  • Engaging with community members to promote the NGO's mission and programs.
  • Assisting with fundraising efforts, including donor management and grant writing.
  • Collaborating with staff to develop and implement awareness campaigns.
  • Supporting administrative tasks as requested.

Job Requirements

Ideal candidates must possess, or be in the process of achieving, a Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Community Development or related disciplines. Essential competencies include:

  • Exceptional communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and social media platforms.
  • Strong planning, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
  • A passion for social work and improving communities.
