Internship Opportunity: Education/Teaching Intern – Glasgow, United Kingdom

Job Description

As an education/teaching intern, you will assist in implementing and reflecting on teaching strategies, contribute to resource and curriculum developments, and support ongoing educational projects and initiatives. You will gain hands-on experience in teaching at different levels, educational administration, project management, and liaise with relevant internal and external stakeholders. You will also participate in ongoing professional development, workshops, and learning forums.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting in planning and delivering effective teaching and learning sessions
  • Supporting in reviewing and developing curriculum to meet evolving educational needs
  • Participating in educational research and contributing to project reports
  • Liaising with staff members, students, parents, and community partners to drive educational goals
  • Assisting in organising educational events and overseeing logistics

Requirements

The desired candidate should be enrolled in a graduate or undergraduate degree in the field of Education or a related sector. Commendable communication skills both verbal and written are vital, along with the ability to work cohesively in a diverse team. Superior organisational and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a genuine interest and dedication to education are a must. Prior experience in a relevant field or volunteering work is advantageous but not necessary.
